Flying Orders Book Requirements

The Flying Orders Book requires that you stay current on type, to do this you need to fly the same type of aircraft within the last 28 days (NB this does not have to be at the same flying organisation).

However if you are new to Flying Time we do require that you complete a check which will generally take 1 -2 hours (if you are familiar with the type of aircraft).

If you go outside these 28 days you will be required to fly with an instructor for a short flight.

Flying Abroad

Those who self-fly hire may want to visit various airfields at home and abroad.  You are more than welcome to do this and we have all the facilities that you require at Shoreham.

Instructors are on hand to offer advice and are also available for cross-channel checks if required.

You may want to consider cost sharing by taking a flying buddy.  This splits the cost of the day and means you can fly further for less.
