Flying Time Aviation offers a choice of two of the latest simulator technologies for career-minded students wishing to gain the highest skill levels with the minimum financial outlay.

Our new CAA certified ALSIM AL-200 DA42 FNPTII (Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer) really is the latest state-of-the-art technology for cost-effective flight training, and confirms our status as one of the leading Flight Training Organisations (FTO) in the UK.

Alternatively, our new PA28 Systems Trainer is an extremely affordable way for PPL and IMC students to gain the necessary skills at a fraction of the cost of single engined aircraft hire.

FNPTII Simulator

Equipped with a Garmin G1000™ EFIS cockpit plus a 185 Degree visual display system, our FNPTII simulator can show detailed approaches to over 3000 airfields worldwide with high definition visual effects for 6 UK airports including Shoreham.

The system is CAA certified and designed to meet EASA updated requirements which will come into effect in September 2009.

The simulator will be used primarily for Instrument Rating Training, Garmin G1000™ courses, GPS Training (including the new GPS approaches into Shoreham), multi-engine emergencies training and circuit familiarisation for Shoreham. All at a fraction of the cost of hiring our Diamond DA42 Twin Star.

An exact replica of our Diamond DA42 Twin Star, use of the system will allow up to 40 hours credit towards an Instrument Rating and 5 hours credit for a Commercial Pilot Licence. As a result training costs can be dramatically lowered.
