2. Air Experience Flights
- Air experience flight vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase. The voucher holder should make a booking for the flight within the voucher validity period.

This time includes taxiing to the take-off position, the duration of the flight and taxiing back to the parking bay after landing. The time spent on the pre-flight briefing is additional to the flight time and is not deducted from the flight time.
- An additional person may be accommodated in the back of the aircraft subject to aircraft type booked and weight of the person. Flying Time Aviation has the final decision on whether an extra person can be carried. - A booking may be cancelled by the voucher holder provided that 48 hours notice is given. If a booking is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice then a cancellation fee of £30 may be charged. The cancellation fee may be waived, at our discretion, depending on the circumstances of the cancellation.
- Vouchers may be exchanged for a higher value voucher, at any time within the validity period of the original voucher, on payment of the additional amount.
- Vouchers may be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase. After this date, and until one month before expiry, provided a booking has not been made, vouchers will be refunded but will be subject to an administration charge of 10% of the value of the voucher. Vouchers cannot be refunded within one month of expiry.

- The voucher entitles the voucher holder to an air experience for the amount of time stated on the voucher. This time includes taxiing to the take-off position, the duration of the flight and taxiing back to the parking bay after landing. The time spent on the pre-flight briefing is additional to the flight time and is not deducted from the flight time.
- An additional person may be accommodated in the back of the aircraft subject to the appropriate voucher having been purchased, aircraft type booked and weight of the person. Flying Time Aviation has the final decision on whether an extra person can be carried.

5. PPL, NPPL, Night, IMC, Safety Pilot, G1000 EFIS, RNAV GPS and Conversions
- It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that they meet the requirements of the course, particularly with regard to medical fitness. Flying Time Aviation will not refund any expenses incurred by the student prior to ensuring that all requirements are met.
- A deposit of £350 is due in advance of commencing a PPL or NPPL course whilst a deposit of £150 is required for all other courses. These payments will be returned to the student in the form of a deduction from final payments for the course on completion of the course. Where a discount package is booked, which requires the full payment before the start of the course, a separate initial deposit is not required.
- Any advance payments made may be subject to any price increases for any reason.
- If, for any reason, Flying Time Aviation is unable to provide a course after a booking and payment have been made, then a full refund will be made. Flying Time Aviation will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the student in preparation for the course.
- If a student decides not to commence a course then the deposit will be forfeited. If a full course payment has been made then a refund will be made but an administration charge of 10% of the amount paid will be deducted from the refund amount together with any banking or credit card fees paid by Flying Time Aviation.
- If a student leaves before completing the course for which they have deposited monies then the balance remaining will be returned to the student, but either the initial deposit will be forfeited or, for those courses which have been fully prepaid, an administration charge of 10% of the balance will be deducted together with any bank or credit card fees paid by Flying Time Aviation. In the case of discounted fully paid courses the discount will not apply to partially completed courses and any refund will be subject to a recalculation of training hours completed at the normal rate.
- When a price is quoted for a course package this price must be paid even if the student completes the course in fewer hours than those included in the package. If, however, the student requires additional hours to those included in the package, to complete the course, then these hours and any additional fees and charges will be charged at the normal rates.
- For operational reasons it may occasionally be necessary to alter the timing of a student’s booked session to another time of the day or to another day. Flying Time Aviation will give the student as much notice as possible of this but if the new time is not convenient for the student then the student will have priority in any further rearrangements of booked sessions.
- If the student's usual aircraft type is unavailable, and another aircraft type has been provided but declined, Flying Time Aviation will not refund any expenses incurred if the student chooses to wait for the usual aircraft.
- Flying Time Aviation will always endeavour to ensure that a student can complete their course in the normal timescale for the course. However, Flying Time Aviation cannot be held responsible for delays to the training schedule caused by unsuitable weather conditions or unexpected aircraft maintenance requirements and will not refund any extra expenses incurred by the student as a result of these delays.
- Where a course culminates in a test carried out by a CAA examiner, Flying Time Aviation cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the availability of the CAA examiner and will not refund any extra expenses incurred by the student as a result of these delays.

The second instalment will be due when 48 hours of the programme have been completed.
- Hourbuilders are required to open an account with a minimum of £1000 payment for aircraft hire and additional fees. The cost of each flight will then be deducted from the account. In the case of Avgas aircraft, the hire cost will be taken from the account but the hourbuilder is responsible for direct payment of fuel and the additional fees. Additional payments can be made to the account at any time. Once the account balance reduces to £100 then a further payment will be requested and bookings may be refused until a payment is received.
