Evening workshops for IFR flight planning

The IFR flight planning workshops offer a great opportunity to learn and practice all aspect of planning including; performance, mass and balance, regulations, airways, weather, NOTAMs, flight plans, STARs and SIDs.

Night Qualification

A Night Qualification is the perfect addition to a PPL and is only 5 hours long, of which 3 hours must be completed with an instructor.

IMC Rating

An Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) Rating enables reduced visibility flying within the UK. The course helps pilots improve their flying skills and weather and instrument appreciation.

RNAV-GPS Course

With Shoreham Airport being one of only three airports in the UK cleared for RNAV-GPS approaches, Flying Time is best suited for this course on our G1000™ flight simulator and EFIS equipped aircraft fleet.

MEP Rating

The Multi Engine Piston (MEP) Rating is for those who like a little more speed, extended range, and the added safety and security of having two engines instead of one.

Safety Pilot Course

Perfect for partners, this course takes any non-flyer and teaches them the very basics of flying, so that if anything should happen to the pilot, they will be able to bring the aircraft back to the airport safely.
