The ME IR can be revalidated in the simulator as long as the last revalidation/renewal or initial skill test were performed in the aircraft.
The test profile is very similar to the profile used during initial IR skill test although you are not required to complete certain aspects like that stalls. The revalidation test is also more relaxed than the initial IR test.
Our first time pass rates for renewals and revalidations are nearly 100%

The simulator used is an Alsim FNPTII Diamond DA42 Twinstar.
