Garmin G1000 EFIS Course

Flying Time Aviation offers two courses for the Garmin G1000™ Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS): an introduction for VFR pilots, and a more advanced IFR course.

We also offer a RNAV-GPS/GNS Approach Course.

Introduction to the Garmin G1000™ EFIS VFR 

The course provides an introduction to the operation of the Garmin G1000™ Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS), the Primary Flight Display (PFD) and the Multi Flight Display (MFD).

Designed for pilots who have GNS experience and require an introduction to the "Glass cockpit" PFD/MFD display screens and for first time users of the Garmin G1000™ PFD/MFD.

Introduction to the Garmin G1000™ EFIS VFR course

	30 minutes ground school
	1 hour in our G1000™ PFD/MFD FNPTII Simulator
	1 Hour in our G1000™ equipped aircraft
	1 landing and 2 "Touch & Go" with an instructor

Garmin G1000™ EFIS IFR

Designed for pilots who already hold a current IMC/IFR rating and wish to convert to a "glass cockpit".

	30 minutes ground school
	2 hours training in our G1000™ FNPTII Simulator
	1½ hours in our G1000™ equipped aircraft with an instructor
