Within easy reach of London, our Flying Start Package is the most cost-effective way of commencing a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) course and helps determine if flying is for you before making additional financial commitments.
The Introductory Flying Lesson, also known as an Air Experience Flight, is an ideal opportunity to experience flying in a light aircraft from our base at Shoreham airport.
These flights can be your first step towards gaining your PPL and a chance to enjoy the experience and see if flying is for you. After a full briefing your qualified instructor will take you through the basics of flying, and you'll receive professional in-flight instruction.
Air Experience Flights are completed in either one of our fleet of new DA40 Diamond Stars or the Piper Cadet Diesel. These aircraft accommodate one extra person in the back seat (at the instructor's discretion).
Perhaps your sights may already be set on gaining a PPL and you want to integrate the introductory flying lesson with the first few hours of PPL training. In which case, choose our Flying Start Package. Please see our PPL Course Content page for more information about PPL training.

Introductory Flying Lesson/Air Experience Flight
Introductory Flying Lessons give you chance to fly to and from Shoreham taking in views of Brighton, Beachy Head, Arundel Castle or Worthing. You will also be able to request to fly over areas of personal interest (such as your own home). If you're travelling down from London, we're easy to find just off the A27.
